Maasai Soapstone Warrior

Soapstone sculpture making is an age-old craft in Kenya. Mined primarily in the Kisii region Kenyan soapstone can be milky white or beautifully flecked with yellow and rose minerals. Incredibly soft to the touch and luminescent our soapstone pieces were sourced from artisans in Nakuru who specialize in making containers, tableware and animal figurines.
