Collection: NAGALAND COLLECTION

Intricate design and bold color, our collection from Nagaland is sourced from a women's collective striving to protect and promote the region's craft legacy and support women's economic self reliance.
These textiles are produced using the loin-loom, the oldest loom technology adopted by humans. The loom is still used by the Nagas and other tribes of North-East India. The portable loom gets its name from the strap pulled around the weaver’s back that holds the whole structure of the loom.
